Kansas City boasts so many iconic buildings and structures. The Country Club Plaza is a Kansas City-area favorite, especially around the holidays. On Thanksgiving night, the Plaza turns on all of their holiday lights at once. These lights are strung up on all of the Plaza's buildings, outlining the shapes of the clock towers and the domed cupolas. The big event draws tens of thousands of guests each year, and the "Season of Lights" is one of Kansas City's longest held traditions. The lights stay on until mid-January the following year.
