Inspired by all things celestial and an with appreciation for minimalist design, these candles are crafted for maximum olfactory enjoyment. They are made with a coconut and soy wax blend, phthalate-free fragrances, essential oils, lead-free cotton wicks, and glass vessels comprised of recycled materials. All candles are handcrafted with love in small batches in Columbia, Missouri. Product Specifications Size: 4 oz Burn time -- 25 + hours A Note on Candle Care The first time you burn your candle, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container (typically 2-3 hours). This helps prevent "tunneling" - where the candle burns straight down the middle, leaving extra wax along the sides. Keep your burn time to a maximum of four hours. Doing so will help prevent the wick from "mushrooming" - which can cause the flame to get too large, your candle to smoke, and soot to be released into the air. Before each burn, trim your wick to 1/4". This will ensure a smaller, safer flame with less smoke and soot.
