This 100-page book includes beautiful portraits of Kansas City area jazz musicians taken over a 40 year period by Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Dan White. The portraits were recently exhibited at a special exhibit at the Truman Presidential Library in Independence, Mo. The book contains short essays and text by jazz historian Chuck Haddix.
