Francis Quadrangle Coaster Print by Doodle Station - 8x8
The University of Missouri's Francis Quadrangle, commonly known as "The Quad," was not intentionally built to stand alone. Academic Hall, Mizzou's very first building on campus, burned completely in 1892, and left behind were the six columns we see today. Behind The Quad you can see the famous dome of Jesse Hall, and combined with the columns, it is one of the most recognizable views of the University of Missouri.
This design has been screen printed onto a much thicker, high-grammage, slightly textured paperboard, referred to as “coaster board” because it’s as thick as a paper coaster you’d find at a pub or bar. This coaster board is slightly textured, a more muted white, and the screen printing was performed by a local print shop in Kansas City. Each art print is a copy of an original hand-drawn illustration by Doodle Station in Kansas City, MO.
