Enjoy this box set of holiday cards featuring a custom design from our archives! The original ca. 1950 card reproduces a painting by Frederick Shane that depicts a snow-covered version of the same scene as in his painting View Above Rocheport, Mo. (1978.0190). Farmland in Winter features wispier clouds and more colorful buildings, evergreens were substituted for some deciduous trees, and sledders were introduced at the top of the hill.
