Join us October 28-29, 2022, for the SHSMO Trustee Appreciation Evening, Annual Meeting, Luncheon, and My Missouri Lecture with U.S. Senator Roy D. Blunt. To see the lecture in person at the Center for Missouri Studies, please register for the 12 p.m. luncheon. Seating is limited and registration for the luncheon is required. Trustees are also asked to make a $100 donation per Friday night guest to cover the costs for the evening so that staff and special guests may attend without cost to them.
2022 Speaker: Senator Roy D. Blunt
A native of southwest Missouri, Roy Blunt taught history at Marshfield High School before beginning his political career. From county clerk of Greene County to Missouri Secretary of State to U.S. Congress, Blunt has served Missourians for more than 45 years. He is currently the senior U.S. Senator from Missouri and SHSMO second vice president.

The My Missouri Lecture Series invites prominent Missourians from all walks of life to reflect on what being a Missourian has meant to them as they speak about how the state’s history, people, and culture have shaped their experiences.
