An Expanding Art Collection

Gifts to SHSMO allow strategic additions to the nation's most significant Missouri-related art collection and expand the resources to stage unique exhibitions.

Scholarship and Publications

Support of SHSMO underwrites the publication of scholarly books and the award-winning Missouri Historical Review, a quarterly journal in continuous publication since 1906.

Donations help preserve and provide access to one of the nation's largest statewide collections of newspapers.

National History Day in Missouri

Supporting National History Day in Missouri promotes history education for Missouri students.

NHDMO is a unique opportunity for middle school, junior high, and high school students to explore the past in a creative, hands-on way by producing a documentary, exhibit, paper, dramatic performance, or website on a topic of their choosing.

Collection Legacies

With your support, SHSMO collections of maps, personal correspondence, rare books, family papers, photographs, and more continue to grow and are protected for future generations.

Digitization and Online Resources
